T-Kartor is looking for a Technical Project Manager

Position: Technical Project Manager

Place of employment: Kristianstad

Type of employment: Full time

Are you our next Technical Project Manager?

T-Kartor is a growing and innovative company with a global footprint. Our success is largely due to our highly skilled colleagues, strong culture of striving to succeed and of allowing ourselves to constantly break new ground. We are currently developing systems and chart production lines for the Norwegian Defence, Swedish authorities, and large cities such as London, Paris, and New York.

We are looking for a Project Manager based at our head office in Kristianstad, primarily on-site but with the possibility of working remotely part of the time.

About the position

As Project Manager you are responsible for leading development- and/or production projects from start to finish. The Project Manager is responsible for developing a complete project plan, gathering the right resources, and developing a competence plan. The Project Manager’s responsibilities also include project budgeting, resource planning, progress reports and risk management within the framework of the project.

The Project Manager will report to our Head of Development/Production. The successful candidate will also work closely with T-Kartor colleagues at all levels to ensure successful delivery and high customer satisfaction.

About your profile

You have demonstrable experience in managing projects within demanding time and budgetary constraints and thrive on these challenges. In your toolbox, you have both agile and traditional project management methods, which you can combine well in different situations. You work in a structured way and are motivated by achieving goals together with your team – you act and think as a real team player. You are proactive and have good communication skills. Motivating and enthusing people in your daily work comes naturally to you.

We would like you to have a technical background and you recognize yourself in an organization that values creativity, teamwork, and openness. You have worked with system development and implementation, and solving production system challenges with solutions that make the optimal use of software/hardware and team resources.

You are expected to be able to travel as part of your job, for customer meetings both within Sweden and overseas (primarily Europe and North America, several times a year). When it comes to language skills, your English and Swedish should be fluent, both written and spoken. An extra plus if you have working knowledge of an additional language, for example Norwegian, German, Spanish, etc.

We expect this role to be customer-facing, and the ideal candidate should have experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment, and understanding public-sector organisations. Your professional experience and knowledge are important, but equally so is your personality. We are looking for someone who can bring energy, drive, humour, and inspiration to our close-knit team. If this sounds like you, we are looking forward to receiving your application.
