We are currently seeking a support team member and tester to join our team in Kristianstad.
About the position
As a tester and support technician at T-Kartor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software and providing support to our customers and development teams. You will be involved in the entire development cycle, from requirement specification and test planning to bug reporting and support. Your work will contribute to improving the user experience and functionality of our geospatial software solutions. We work according to agile methods, so you will be part of a team that continuously strives to improve and deliver high-quality products.
Your profile
The following skills and knowledge will help you succeed in the role of support technician and tester at T-Kartor:
- Experience in testing and bug reporting within software development
- Understanding of agile methods and practices, such as Scrum and Kanban
- Knowledge and experience in manual testing and exploratory testing
- Experience in integration and automated testing
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and GitHub
- Experience in documentation and the ability to create clear and structured test cases and test reports
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Karma, and Jest
- Knowledge of SQL and JSON
- Ability to work independently and be flexible in a fast-paced development environment
- Previous experience with geospatial data and tools such as GDAL, PostGIS, GeoServer, or MapServer is a plus.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has strong problem-solving skills. You enjoy collaborating in a team and have good communication skills in both Swedish and English. We would like to see that you have a passion for software development and strive to constantly learn and adopt new technologies and methods.
